Three steps, and glide rather than park

Charge, then oil the skin
Charge fully first. A little massage oil on clean skin is what lets the cup glide instead of grabbing — without it the gua sha edge drags.

Lowest suction, lowest heat
Sit the cup flat on a muscle and switch on at level one for both. Come up a step at a time until it feels like a firm pull. Never a pinch.

Glide, do not park
Move it slowly along the muscle, or hold it briefly. Press release before you lift it, and let the twenty-minute timer end the session.

- Do not leave strong suction in one place. Press release before lifting; pulling it off under suction hurts.
- Stop at sharp pain, dizziness or skin that blisters, and let the area settle for several days before cupping it again.

Questions people ask
Will it leave marks?
It can, and some of the manufacturer photos show exactly that — round marks on a back. They are the normal result of suction held in one spot, they fade over days, and they are not a sign that anything worked better. Lower levels, shorter holds and gliding instead of parking keep them faint or absent.
Does it burn fat or reduce cellulite?
No, and we would rather say so plainly than let the word do quiet work. Some supplier photos use it. Suction and warmth on skin do not change body composition. This is a massager, and that is all we are selling it as.
How many suction levels — the box says twelve, a photo says six?
The spec sheet lists up to twelve suction and twelve warmth levels; some photos show a simpler three-step warmth scale from an earlier version. We go by the spec sheet, and either way you start at one and rarely need the top half.
Do I need oil?
For gliding, yes — any plain massage oil or body oil. For holding the cup in one spot briefly, no. Without oil the edge drags on dry skin and the session is not pleasant.
Is this a medical device?
No. It is a comfort product. It does not treat pain conditions, circulation, cellulite or anything else, and traditional claims about cupping are not something we repeat. Pain that keeps returning belongs with a healthcare professional.
